Job Position: Graduate Trainee Programme
Trestle Academy is organizing a trainee programme for graduates. This shall be an intensive 3-month training programme in data engineering.
Overview of The Training:
This training programme which is part of the Invest for Jobs initiative by GIZ under the Careers in Modern IT Fields project is specifically designed for recent graduates, unemployed graduates and working professionals who wish to upskill themselves or transition fully into the fields of Data Analytics and Cloud Computing with at least 1 year experience.
In this training you will explore data engineering in cloud environments, covering services offered by major cloud providers like AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform by exploring cloud-based solutions for real-time data streaming and processing, including technologies like Kafka, Apache Spark, and cloud-native streaming services.
This training will also cover extensively the implementation of data lakes in cloud environments and the tools available for analytics and insights such as Google Data Studio, Superset, Metabase, Tableau, andPowerBi.
Expected Perks:
During and upon completion of this training, proven trainees who have demonstrated a high degree of proficiency in the skills acquired will be provided the following benefits:
- Job Offers: Paid internships and entry level job opportunities shall be offered to such trainees to apply.
- Stipends: A monthly stipend shall be made available to trainees especially those resident outside Accra to cover expenses such as transport and food.
- Laptops: Brand new laptops will be made available to trainees who do not have a working laptop to complete their capstone projects.
